​African Women's Economic Consortium (AWEC)

 

AWEC will host a black-tie event that features the talents of 10 young entrepreneurs.  Each entrepreneur will be judged by 5 judges for their innovative products and services. Winners will be awarded monetary prizes to help move their programs further.  The event is tentatively scheduled for October 22, 2016.

IWTT’s work in spearheading the creation of the Hub Connection for Africa, Caribbean, Central/South America, a component of the Hartsfield-Jackson Aerotropolis; and Obtain feedback from governments and organizations likely to use the hub as a base from which to promote commercial and cultural interests.

Executive Committee on the Status of Women and Girls –Georgia USA

An Executive Committee’s has been formed and their role is to oversee and guide the progress of developing a 21st Century Plan that will recommend best practices on improving the well-being of women and girls in Georgia.

 

The Gender Pay Gap: Georgia (USA) 

This research project is set to be focused on the State of Georgia. The purpose of the study is to examine key strategies that will contribute to the eradication of the economic disparity gap between men and women.

Women and STEM: Girls Let's Build

The IWTT launched an After School program targeting (initially) girls 4-7 years old. During these classes girls are exposed to engineering concepts in a fun and playful way.

STEM Network Georgia and Million Women Mentors 

The IWC is organizing STEM organizations in the state of Georgia to bring STEM communities together to foster collaboration, innovation and communication; to also develop a state-wide STEM database. Women in Agriculture: 'GenEva's Fruit'

This Project began in December 2013, with the planting of Muscadine vines in the State of Alabama (USA).  The Muscadine grape is known as the first native grape in the USA and thrives in the climate of the SouthEast.
